Benny, an American
Standardbred and ex-trotter, known as "Flying Delmar" in his
racing days, was a lovable tyrant, ruling the other horses with a rod
of iron, and giving Georgie the occasional kick on the behind when she
least expected it. The two shetlands, like most of their breed, are
characters, as was our dear Highland Pony, Motley.
The donkeys? Well, they're simply a law unto themselves.
